I think for most people, it is a cross between O.J., Clinton, Condit, Jackson, Democrats,the media, This War....etc., that we want so bad for right to be right and wrong to be wrong. It just seems like everything is upside down.
Most all people are in agreement here, like with O.J. for example, and shutter to think of the shenanigans of some slick lawyers, this one too, will get off "SCOTT FREE" (omg...!! Scott Free ! what a pun ! )

I saw that too sis. He was stating things that were not true, like Amber was not able to attend school because of the media hounding her.
When in fact, she had already completed her schooling.
I didn't catch all of what he and Ron Frey said, but I know Frey was pissed and said he would not allow anyone to attack his courageous daughter and her attorney.
For Scott and his behavior, and emotions, wouldn't know. I would be devastated for losing a loved one. I was when my dad died ....many years ago.

I don't know the terms of that bequest (the jewelry), but it was to be shared btw Laci and Amy Rocha. I'm betting that on Laci's death, all the jewelry (which the two of them had not already disposed of) would become the property of Amy. But I don't know that for a fact.
I do know that in a community property state such as CA, an inheritance is that spouse's separate property--not community property. That would certainly have made a difference in a divorce. Would it have made a difference on the death of the spouse? I don't know; part of the answer would depend on whether the deceased spouse left a will.
Think about this very good point that some other posters have brought up: what happens to Laci's property and money if she is just MISSING? We often hear that one has to wait 7 years for a missing person to be declared dead, but after reading up on it a bit, I can tell you that that is NOT necessarily the case. The time can be shortened considerably.
If a missing person has any substantial financial matters, a representative must be appointed to take care of them. Now, who would be a more likely representative than their ever-devoted spouse?
Me too. He lied about EVERYTHING...INCLUDING his statements that he had nothing to do with her disappearance!!!!!

It may be typical male behavior to tell a few lies to get chicks, but brother, those elaborate lies this crazy sucker told are not typical of ANY human behavior I've ever heard of!
