It is too early to place Mr. Blair in the company of the great man, Churchill, but he certainly has been a stalwart friend.
STFU!
"But he has made it clear he's not going to hold a grudge."
Well ain't that big of him! I am sure Tony has quit shaking in his boots.
He wants to make sure he has Blair's support when Kerry appoints him to the Court of St. James.
"But he has made it clear he's not going to hold a grudge." Translation " no arkanside for Tony"
So Clinton is issuing pro-terrorist propaganda to try have support withdrawn from our defense, which could cause more US and British soldiers to be killed.
Clinton is an enemy against the free world. He wants the enemy to come to our own soil to murder our children. Democrats are terrorist-sympathizing filth.
Words fail me.
I sure hope that Tony Blair does not have any abandoned tents out in the middle of nowhere.
Exactly, WTF? Why should Blair be involved in our election one way or another?
Regards, Ivan
Just damn! Why would Clinton think Blair allying with the United States was a betrayal of him? This is the Bill Clinton they tried to sell as a person with a brilliant mind?
Is Clinton basicly saying by this reaction, that his interests are contrary to that of the United States? Oh come on, who would believe that.
The left is a rather interesting group. They loathe the U.S., but deny it and try to pass themselves off as the moral protectors of this nation's people. The funny thing is, they can't help themselves. The treason just oozes from these jacka--e-.
Kerry, when asked about his strategy for redeploying US troops abroad, seemed to be saying that he would pull US troops out of Iraq and convince the French and the Germans to replace them with theirs. Yeah, that would happen. I can't imagine why Blair would be nervous about Kerry.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that what sKerry is bitchin' about? The ability to get along with all leaders? GWB did a great job with our friend, and Tony did a great job putting aside politics in order to get the job done.
Did it ever dawn in this bloated X42 that maybe Tony was just being NICE? After you pulled the stunt of telling the world about his health condition when you had left office and he had asked you to keep your crooked mouth shut?
</X42rantgrrrr >
"But ex-Foreign Secretary Robin Cook hinted Labour's relationship with the Democrats could be wrecked.
He said: "They're confident they're going to win.
"This is good news for the world but not unalloyed joy for Tony Blair." "
Interesting that "the world" finds the "good news" is liberals winning. This should wake up sleeping Americans, the world is against US and they need the liberals to win.
On needs to look any further than this Clinton statement to know that PM Blair and President Bush did the right thing.
Dang typos; (correction to last )
One needs to look no further than this Clinton statement to know that PM Blair and President Bush did the right thing.
Bill WHO???
I thought the donkeys were all worked up because Bush had alienated all our allies.
Now we're told they're upset that a great ally supports the U.S.?!
Talking out of both ends of the donkey.
It's nothing new for a former RAT President to try and meddle with our elections through foreigners. It was revealed about a year ago that Carter had actually contacted the Soviets in hope of getting the KGB to try and help turn the '84 election to Mondale. The Russians were smart enough to realize that not even they could save Mondale's campaign.
