August 18, 2004 Cincinnati
Senator John Kerry visits Cincinnati. I was there to give him a good welcome (freep) with my signs, including my DO GOOD- VOTE BUSH sign. His entourage drove right by so I'm sure he saw my signs. It seemed to my that most of the V.F.W.ers were receptive to the idea of BUSH being their man. Pics to follow.
Here is the other side of convention center where Senator sKerry whizzed by me in his SUV. Only about six of his supporters out there to welcome him.
Here I am, having a BAD hair day, from driving w/windows half down.
AWESOME FREEP!!! I'm ecstatic that most of the Vets (politely?) dissed the Great Pretender today after ENTHUSIASTICALLY greeting President Bush on Monday!!!
Tomorrow evening, hubby and I will be in downtown Cincy attending a Catholics for Bush-Cheney event featuring Senator Brownback (R-Kansas)!
The Cincinnati region WILL offset Cleveland/Youngstown/Akron and deliver Ohio for President Bush!!!!

I still wish all of our Freeper events would include the "Raw Deal" sign. It's the equivalent of the "Sore-Loserman" sign in the last election.
Here is my flip flop/Expose Kerry's Fraud Swiftboat.com sign. The Swiftboat sign brought out anger in quite a few V.F.W.ers!

Great signs and great after-action report. I'm from Cincinnati and am happy and proud to have you out there representing us.
Thanks -- the photos look fantastic!
FReep On!
More from inside:
Kerry Blasts Bush's Troop Realignment Plan
Large portions of the crowd applauded each of his many promises to protect veterans' benefits. Smaller portions vocally backed his points on Iraq and terrorism. Some veterans sat with arms folded, while others stood and clapped.
One man heckled Kerry, calling him a liar.
~snip~
Well, our heckler---which we heard and commented on the LIVE THREAD this morning, though we couldn't make out what he was yelling, was correct.
Go to that thread and see that Kerry was for the troop repositioning...before he was against it.
lol @ your flip flops on the sign. What a great touch!
When it got dark, Al Gore set off fireworks in honor of John Kerry!

I salute two heroes. Thank you gentlemen/patriots.
ya better believe it!!
Thanks for standing tall for the right side of America. Great pix and signs. zip
I notice the difference in the right and the left by the signs/buttons/tshirts displayed. The right says "God Bless America" and sKerry's buttons on sale at his rally in Jefferson City MO said Buck Fush. Really nice thing to pin on your children. NOT
