Move over Michael Jordan. There is a new sports drink flavor ready for the tasting and it belongs to the Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James.
James will officially get his own drink when the 32-ounce bottles of Powerade FLAVA23 hit stores next month. This means James has outdone the ubiquitous Jordan, who appeared on bottles of Gatorade without having a flavor to himself.

I bet it has a heady taste to it. Not that I'm going to try it out.
Probably thick as Labron is ignorant.

Originally, I was glad when the pros went to the Olympics. I thought it was stupid that other nations had what were in essence, professional athletes playing basketball, while our nation had to fight hard to win a medal. Now, I have changed my mind. I would rather see the college kids go to the Olympics for basketball. They want it more that the regular spoiled thuggish embarrassments that play professional basketball.

POWERADE PING
I wonder if they will force Mr James to wear the powerade bottle on his head during a winning post game interview.
Just like Powerade is forcing Nascar teams/car owners/drivers to keep their plastic decorative advertising bottles on top of the car in victory lane whether they want them there or not.
$10,000 fine if you knock the bottles off or cover them up with your own sponsors sign!!
Booooooo Powerade!!

As much as I am disappointed in the perfomance of the team so far, I give the players credit for actually going, when about a dozen of the top players actully said no when asked.
As far as them not wanting to be there, I must take issue. Young guys like LeBron, Carmelo, and Dwyane Wade are at the begining of their careers, and one major injury could end their NBA days permanently. Same is true for the other guys.
They went, and did wear the USA uniform. That's a plus, in my book. I'm still rooting for them.

People around here love to bash.
These guys are not getting paid, they're risking injury, and they're trying their best.
This team is probably one of the youngest in the tournament, they haven't played together for more than a few weeks, and they have no pure shooters.

One more thing: Guess who also lost Sunday?
Serbia and Montenegro.
San Antonio's Emmanuel Ginobili launched an off-balance shot just before the red light to give Argentina revenge from Indy against the Serbians, defeating the other major team favoured to win Olympic gold, 83-82. It was sweet revenge for the Argentine team, which protested a non-foul call on a blatant foul at the Conseco Fieldhouse during the championship game of the 2002 World Champions.

Piston repeat ping, no flavor needed.
Teamwork is not a flavor, but an attitude. (How is that for a tagline?)
