I had a German Shepard as a kid. My dog wasn't mean though. He still scared lots of people. I used to say Lucky would never ...be any good as a watch dog. I have changed my mind. One of the kids in my neighborhood is disturbed-really the kid is not right. He threatened my seven daughter with a metal basball bat in our yard (this kid is 14 years old)- I don't remember when a week or two ago maybe. I heard a ruckus and came out. I thought that dog was going to tear this kid to pieces. Lucky didn't bite the kid, but their was no way the kid was getting near my daughter. I gave the dog a big bone and called this kid's mother. I told her I'm calling the cops if I catch him in my yard. I also told her she should get help for this kid. She won't though-California valley girl dingbat type.
