Kerry's Write-Wing Conspiracy: When Diaries Attack
The Kerry Fairy ^ | 08/18/04 | Becki Snow

John Kerry the Swift Boat Commander is now calling John Kerry the Democratic Candidate a liar. The best attack ad against Kerry has come, not from the Bush Campaign or the Swift Boat Veterans, but instead from Kerry himself.

Art Moore from WorldNetDaily found this little footnote from history, and uncovered the real story:

*****
KERRY CONTRADICTS SELF IN OWN WAR DIARY? At least 9 days after Purple Heart, wrote he had not 'been shot at yet'

"A previously unnoticed passage in John Kerry's approved war biography, citing his own journals, appears to contradict the senator's claim he won his first Purple Heart as a result of an injury sustained under enemy fire.

Kerry, who served as commander of a Navy swift boat, has insisted he was wounded by enemy fire Dec. 2, 1968, when he and http://www.JohnKerry.com/pdf/jkmilservice/militaryrecords_1.pdf two other men took a smaller vessel, a Boston Whaler, on a patrol north of his base at Cam Ranh Bay.

But Douglas Brinkley's "Tour of Duty," for which Kerry supplied his journals and letters, indicates that as Kerry set out on a subsequent mission, he had not yet been under enemy fire.

While the date of the four-day excursion on PCF-44 [Patrol Craft Fast] is not specified, Brinkley notes it commenced when Kerry "had just turned 25, on Dec. 11, 1968," which was nine days after the incident in which he claimed he had been wounded by enemy fire.

They pulled away from the pier at Cat Lo with spirits high, feeling satisfied with the way things were going for them. They had no lust for battle, but they also were were not afraid. Kerry wrote in his notebook, 'A cocky feeling of invincibility accompanied us up the Long Tau shipping channel because we hadn't been shot at yet, and Americans at war who haven't been shot at are allowed to be cocky.'"

The diary entry apparently confirms assertions made by Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth, a group of more than 250 vets opposing his presidential candidacy who served in the Naval operation that patrolled the rivers and canals of the Mekong Delta area controlled by North Vietnam."
*****

It is a zen logic puzzle any liberal intellectual should easily solve:

A) John Kerry the Commander says he did not see action before Dec. 11, 1968. If John Kerry the Commander is being truthful, then it means that John Kerry the Candidate is a liar. Therefore, Kerry the Candidate lied about his first Purple Heart Medal - which means Kerry committed a court martial offense, thus proving the Swift Boat Veterans correct.

John Kerry the Candidate says he received his first purple heart after being wounded Dec 2, 1968. If John Kerry the Candidate is being truthful, then it means that John Kerry the Commander was a liar. Therefore, Kerry the Candidate lied about experiences in combat - which means Kerry fabricated information about his time in the service, thus proving the Swift Boat Veterans correct.

Either way, Kerry's a liar. By his own hand, in his own words, he has proven himself to be one. Ironically, in revealing himself, Kerry at last tells the truth:

John Kerry is a liar.

Kerry Lies

War Criminal or War Hero,
See both you cannot be.
You claimed you burned a village,
Sounds like a crime to me.
Cambodia in Sixty-Eight,
You say that you were there.
You said Nixon said you weren’t,
Just why would Nixon care?
He wasn’t even president,
Till Nineteen Sixty-Nine.
But details never bother you,
Bold lies do suit you fine.
Three Purple Hearts for paper cuts,
A Bronze and Silver Star.
Then home you came, threw them away,
But look now, there they are.
You testified with still more lies,
About brave fighting men.
The things you claimed that they did,
Just aren’t true now or then.
So tell us please John Kerry,
Which lie we should believe.
Oh what a tangled web you weave,
You practice to deceive.

President Nixon used his mind control ray to force Kerry to write that before his mission deep inside Cambridge Cambodia.

You would think Kerry, the budding Conrad type author, reliving his "Hart of Darkness" tour, would of written effusively about his first mano-a-mano bout with the enemy.

But he didn't.

The dog that didn't bark.

Somebody should go further forward in Kerry book, which he paid to have written, to where he does write of getting his cherry busted and his Red Badge of Courage.
