This is too funny! I remember the Rainier Beer commercials, as I lived in Wash. State at the time!

Rai-neeer-beeeeeeeeeeeeeer as the motorcycle cruises down the highway...

They were great commercials. I spent six years as public relations director for Rainier Brewery and you bet, we could have made hay with this story. I've also written two books about Mount Rainier, and have some classic (true) bear stories. At Mount Rainier they relocate troublesome bears about 25 miles away from tourist areas, and invariably the bears make it back to camp by the next morning.

Did you ever see the one by Bud where it had the motorcycle going into a tunnel, then you hear this 'Bud! 'Bud!' (like a semi-horn) and out comes a semi truck with a motorcyle splattered over the grill? Always thought that was a good response by Bud to the Rainier ad (which I thoroughly enjoyed as well).

Didn't Rainier use a Bear and Tom Toms in their commercials. I can still hear the "chant" but I can't remember the words...
