The Kerry Poodle Groomers have protrayed the Swift Boat Vets as unreliable because they have "Republican" connections and the media lapped it up. Well one of the two most visible of Kerry's "Band of Brothers" is a union electrician and delegate to the DNC Convention this year. In fact, a Kerry delegate. Click Here and Find Wasser as a Pledged Kerry Delegate Could it be that Wasser is more Democrat than Vietnam Veteran in his outlook? Is he a partisan shill taking advantage of a brief (4 month) acquintance for political gain? I watched Sean Hannity take Wasser to school and the guy looked deeply troubled by the facts Sean out in front of him for comment. In fact, the spirit seemed to visibly drain from the guy. He had the look of someone who had pangs of conscience. So it is not without a basis that I ask, "Is Jim Wasser More Loyal To His Party Than To Vietnam Veterans?"

As it stands I have an outstanding FReeper challenge to collect the list of names listed on DNC site and match them up - I know, for example, a number of those men (shown in Kerry's movie even) were on other boats, not his, making them the same as any of the other swiftees (minus Gardner who served on Kerry's boat) - others, like Alston, actually only served with Kerry for a week or so, if at all! Same story with Fred Short - at most 4-6 weeks they served together.

One of the "perks" the band of brothers got, was an easy out of the swift boats program. Kerry, after his abbreviated stint, got transfers for his guys to safer duties. You could argue that he may have saved their lives, while recommending them for medals, but I would charactarize it a little differently.

I am sure they were all complicit in their decision to go out and play at shooting up stuff and claiming to get wounds and glory - they all got medals and they are all now bound by the shared lie. Then Kerry got them transferred. They probably all thought it was hysterical back then, even if that baby got killed and the father too, but HEY, they got to write up that they killed 5 Viet Cong and captured 2 (mother and baby), got medals and got the Hell out of there..
How about two months or less? Kerry was on two boats for about 90 days each.
On his boat? Is he saying that? I thought Gardner spent the longest with him, on the boat - 2 months and 2 weeks.
