Kerry Campaign Explains Bob Kerrey Mixup
AP - 1 hour, 16 minutes ago
John Kerry, Bob Kerrey. It's easy to get confused. At least that's how the Kerry campaign is explaining claims that Kerry the Democratic presidential candidate served as vice chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
Oops. Make that Bob Kerrey the former Democratic senator from Nebraska who did serve as the panel's vice chairman.
(snip) It's difficult to take John Kerry's claims about his intelligence experience seriously when one of his credentials is completely made up," said Republican National Committee (news - web sites) spokeswoman Christine Iverson. "If he had shown up for Intelligence Committee hearings he would notice he wasn't vice chairman."

That was, in fact, gymnast Kerry Strug. The confusion arose over their apparently similar haircuts.
John Kerry is a poser and a pretender. A loser all around. Oh, he marries rich...but that is about it. It'll be nice watching this dove get his come uppance on election night...defeat will be sweet.
LOL! I can see why there would be some confusion!
Like Ted the swimmer claiming he was president.........
Nope
Like Ted the swimmer claiming he was lifeguard......
".....the American people have the right to know who they are...."
Terry has it wrong. I could give a flyin' flip about who the delegates are from California (nothing personal, mind you). I live in Georgia. If I want to know my state's delegates, I will use State GOP resources.
This is way too much fun. LOL.
That's what Rush was saying today. That in addition to evidently not knowing where he was (Cambodia), sKerry apparently isn't sure who he is!
Bwahahaha!!
Prairie (pathetic, really though)
Well, it's no wonder. He's getting all of the Bob Kerrey vote as well as his own.
I thought I was the vice-chairman. After all, I have the same first name as Bob Kerrey.
No, Ted the swimmer.......Head lifeguard.
LOL!!!
Easy to be the committee chairman when you're not the chairman, especially if you've accomplished being in Cambodia when you weren't in Cambodia and even more fabulous was being on a secret mission in Cambodia after you've been released from the military.
putz alert...this guy is incredible!
In related campaign news, Senator Kerry today had to retract his claim to have been the skipper of PT-109 when reporters reminded him that it was the other JFK who fought in WW II.
This is so outrageous and it sickens me to think that this will get no play from the newsprint media. My daily paper habit is entrenched and would be hard to break, but I'm thinking of cancelling my subscription anyway.
Time for a tagline change :0)
Smackdown! Match point to Christine Iverson!
