It is not only John Kerry who puts out false information. On Kerry's website was info that was hurredly removed that claimed the candidate was the Vice Chair of the Intelligence Committee. Whoops. That was actually Bob Kerrey. In fact, John attended very few of the very important public or private meetings.
Now comes a snafu that has the Bush campaign reeling. It could seriously damage the credibility of the President.
Like Kerry, apparently the president has had trouble with the truth. Just removed from his website were claims that Bush has 4 Winston Cup victories, was runner-up in 2001 for Winston Cup rookie of the year, won the pole position for the 2001 Southern 500 at Darlington, won four Craftsman Truck races, and was the 1999 Featherlite Southwest Tour chamption.
George Bush has, in fact, done none of those things. It is a total fabrication, and he and his campaign should be ashamed of themselves for the blatant lies.
It turns out that the person with the driving resume is actually Kurt Busch. It sounds the same, but it is not spelled the same.
How could something like this happen to make the entire Bush/Cheney effort look so amateurish?
"I also just discovered that Condoleezza Rice does hold all the receiving records for the 49ers."
LOL, we always knew the Bush team was versatile!
A very funny post, Doug. :)
Dick Chaney in his pre-Halliburton days. Halliburton was the bastard child of Halle Berry and Richard Burton.
Nicely done!
"...but don't forget John Kerry starred in Ace Ventura, Pet Detective."
His campaign is beginning to look more like "Dumb and Dumber"
I really loved Ted Olsen on "Full House." I never even realized he was actually twins!
----
He just "seemed like twins" because of all the coffe that his mother drank...always to the last drop.
Well done!
Actually he was catcher in a baseball game that day, so it's a "secret cup" not cap!
Why yes, I think that might just be it!
The recent rumors that George W.Bush while on his famous
Thanksgiving visit to the troops, climbed to the roof of
the mess hall and actually silenced two Iraqi insurgent
machinegun nests with accurate, aimed fire from his Barret
.50 cal are entirely untrue.
The other rumors about his unarmed takedown of an Iraqi
assassin are however.....
...not true also
...it wasn't a Barrett?
Barney Oldfield was one of the greatest, if not the greatest, race drivers of all time. His name is so meshed with racing that even those who don't follow the sport recognize it.
Como zorruno!
Ricky Rudd is a far better Ringer for W than Jr...
And "Liar, Liar"
Wish I knew how to make this my background....AWESOME.
Wish I knew how to make this my background....AWESOME.
The "sponsor" logos are priceless.....
It all started when that darned Ronald Ray-gun claimed to have funded Star-wars.
Right click on the picture and left click on Set as Background.
Feel silly, yet?
I know it's hard sometimes, but people need to lighten up a bit. Sometimes we get too wrapped around the axle, so to speak.
The best part of the pic of AF1 leaving is the flag sticking out from the cockpit. LOL!!!
The next best thing about the pic is the two cars on the track - #88 and #8 - the Dale and Dale show - if you remember a race from a few years ago.
No offense intended, hope none is taken.
