I read somewhere (but I can't remember where and therefore cannot back it up) that US gov't employees overseas get 'domestic partner benefits'.
That would explain the number of homos working as civilians for the US in Germany. I saw it firsthand.
If a government employee contacts aids, they are eligible for medical retirement under the CSR/FERS. A military friend of mine was wrongfully terminated from government service for sending a personal homo email joke to a loose lips employee. The pimp employee, told an EEO Rep who is a lesbian, and got my friend terminated.
