Hopefully, we will get the Los Lonly Boys.....

I've heard some of their songs - very original. I didn't know they were from San Angelo, though. They sound Valley!

Toby Keith with Ted Nugent. The troops loved them in Afganistan and Iraq. These two together at the convention would be great.

Maybe none are top stars but look, we won't be having Whoopi, Sean Penn, Alec Baldwin, the Dixie Chicks, Susan Saradon, and all others that want to spread Bush hatred and Blame America first rhetoric to the world.

We are a wonderful country that has helped most other nations, we have never been run by any dictator and we represent the value of freedom to the world.

Who needs the Blame America, hate Bush crowd?

My 2-year-old son sings a whole set of Michael W. Smith songs ... it's hysterical!

I was expecting to see Reba, Vince Gill & Amy Grant, Charlie Daniels, and Darrell Worley in the lineup.

Hey...I'm a Kool Aid Drinking Republican......But even I can admit I would have rather had The Chick from the Black Eyed Peas shaking her booty up there rather than Ron Silver.....

BTW...that was the best part of the DNC convention......

Toward the end she sang the verses of "Let Freedom Ring"

I'm surprised at the use of a song about how killing your husband is no big deal ... or is there a non-P.C. version?

The controversial line, "We'll put a boot in your BLEEP, that's the American Way" on "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue (The Angry American) was aimed at Usama bin Laden and other Al Qaeda terrorists. Disney also banned him from an Independence Day special.

The six musical acts to take the stage at Madison Square Garden include artists whose styles range from country to classical and from blues to punk.

If the networks won't cover Guillani, this lineup will give the networks an excuse to drop another night of coverage.

Sara Evans is a good girl! She's one of the hottest women from country music right now. Admittedly, we won't get the biggest names because people are AFRAID OF BEING BLACKLISTED. But I wonder if they will get Tony Sirico from the Soprano who is a "right wing Republican"? You get a few brave ones but, face it, a lot of them will be afraid to hurt their careers due to who controls the industry. You will see more success in finding sports stars for Bush because in sports you can't blacklist and deny talent.

Michael W Smith has a great song and I thought it would be great for the convention the first time I heard it. It is beautiful and invokes thoughts of 9/11.

"There She Stands"

by Michael W. Smith
from his 2002 album, Worship Again

When the night
Seems to say
All hope is lost
Gone away
But I know
I'm not alone
By the light
She stands

There she waves
Faithful friend
Shimmering stars
Westward wind
Show the way
Carry me
To the place
She stands

Just when you think it might be over
Just when you think the fight is gone
Someone will risk his life to raise her
There she stands

There she flies
Clear blue sky
Reminds us with red
Of those that died
Washed in white
By the brave
In their strength
She stands

When evil calls itself a martyr
When all your hopes come crashing down
Someone will pull her from the rubble
There she stands

We've seen her flying torn and tattered
We've seen her stand the test of time
And through it all the fools have fallen
There she stands

By the dawns
Early light
And through the fight
She stands

Would be nice. Yet, there are always date conflicts, salary expectations, etc. Also, there may be a fear of a terrorist onslaught.

Vince Gill & Amy Grant

I thought they were getting a divorce?

For those who don't know or never heard of Michael W. Smith you owe it to yourself to check out some of his stuff. He's my favorite artist, everything the man touchs is beautiful. Especially check out his song 'There She Stands' that he wrote for Bush by his request about 9/11.

I know that Rick Schroeder was at the last Republican convention. Hopefully he's still on our team. Where is Tom Selleck and Kelsey Grammer? Aren't they supposed to be Bush supporters? I did hear Reba McIntyre one time say that she supported Bush and she supported his daddy. That moved her over on my favorites list! On another note, I'm proud to say that Los Loney Boys are from my hometown and if y'all think they are conservative that's even more to be proud of. They could help the Hispanic vote a lot of they came!

Only "OLD" Hollywood support democrats, the new and hipper crowd is conservative. The ones who are ahead of the curve instead of those who follow the "establishment".
