August 17, 2004 -- REDWOOD CITY, Calif. Stunning new phone tapes from Scott Peterson's slay trial yesterday depicted his miffed mistress demanding to know if he slept with wife Laci the night before she vanished and Peterson insisting he told Laci about their affair after their first date.

Right. That was it. I believe it was the owner or the manager who witnessed Scottie socializing like nothing else was going on.
Okay...thanks for indulging me. Just one of those things that I've been thinking about.
The whole family looks guilty.
A far cry from the Hacking family.
LOL.......you are really bad!
Oh, wait, Nancy Grace just said, "They were reading the Bible a lot... maybe he wanted to get together with her for a prayer meeting!"
When Janey swears to never make another penny off this case, THEN she can ask Amber to sign that affidavit!
If have a question: if he didn't care about Amber, why didn't he just tell her to GO AWAY?????
After he knew she went to the police, after he saw her on TV, why was he STILL calling her????????????
that first mil went rather quickly lol...
And maybe cornbread face can help Snotty pay Amber's bills.
Did you hear Nancy Grace's crack: "They sure were reading the Bible a lot... maybe he wanted her to meet him for a prayer meeting!"
"Mentioned a boat"
ROFL!!!
Some people never learn from experience! You're supposed to keep the boat hidden, don't you remember, Scott?
Not to his home address. She sent a card to him at his secret mailbox that he opened for "Tradecorp business".
He never even admitted to her that he'd ever lived at the Covena house! Called it "that house where Laci was staying" or "that house Laci was abducted from".
(And I thought she was abducted from the park...?)
I was thinking today how miserable he must be: a loser case, a lying client, and no TV.
It made my day.
Okay, guilty!
Maybe he was roaming the roads all that time looking for roadkill?
I feel quite secure in the knowledge that the Prosecutors AND Gloria Allred will give Amber good counsel on "how" to deal with those questions!! Really, the best and only way to handle those types of questions is to admit that yes, you had made mistakes for which you were very sorry and had paid a price. What I see in Amber's favour, is the way she went into detail on the phone with Peterson on how she worked extra hard to get her massage degree and learn some Chiropractics as well and that she had determined to support herself and her little girl. The way she went into detail on this subject demonstrated that she had the strength of character and the tenacity to set a goal, and stick to it until it was accomplished. She showed that she was willing to take responsibility for her actions which, imo anyway, is beneficial to her character. She wept when she explained how hard she had worked to gain the skills necessary to make herself self sufficient. She didn't take money from anyone or any agency, and she stuck to her goal for the sole purpose of providing a better life for herself and her child. I give her credit for that and I think the Jury will too. Feiger said today if Geragos tries to smear Amber on the stand he is making a big mistake. He said that Geragos should ask her one or two questions and leave it at that.
THE GIFT>>>
Was a cross with semi precious stones.
Reaction from the jury...some had a look of disgust on their face. Not the best moment for Scott.
Put the gift at a hospital parking lot.
Took the risk of leaving gifts for Amber and her daughter.
Guess he was more concerned with continuing the relationship with her than finding his wife and child.
Yes, and considering that lust is probably about as far as Scott's atavistic brain could go in caring about any other human being, then I'd say he was as attached to her as he could possibly be!
"........... my hands about your waist..........." Isn't this where he explains the meaning to Amber is "Like anchors for people"?
He is a psychopath indeed.
