I believe I heard him mention his wife a few times. Also, a guy who changes his opinions of Bush time and again may indicate something, but manic depression isn't one of them.

Interesting thing about SAVAGE is his trademark emotional run-up on a particular subject du jour... One day, after an emotionally charged bit they hard cut to a break but not before I heard his voice, in a completely normal voice (now this just seconds after he was screaming in passion mind you) starts to say something like.. "..that was good, huh?"
