Miami TV Web Site Mentions Kerry Campaign's Hurricane "Relief"; President Ignored
WSVN-TV ^

Notice the lead story on this web site..."Charley hits South Carolina..."

Then, a death toll update and a list of the damage caused by Charley.

After a few video links, we see "Latest Headlines"....the third story down is about John Kerry's campaign providing "relief".

The story about President Bush's visit to Florida?? Not seen.

But there is no bias in the South Florida media, right???

As an aside, WPLG-TV, the ABC affiliate, DOES have the President's visit noted on their web site. NBC affiliate (owned by the network) WTVJ does NOT currently have a story about President Bush's visit highlighted, and the CBS affiliate web site says the President "will" visit Florida.

Can we get those 2,000 LAWYERS that Kerry was ending to send to Florida to show up early and swing a hammer on people's roofs?

"Can we get those 2,000 LAWYERS that Kerry was ending to send to Florida to show up early and swing a hammer on people's roofs?"

No, then if they injure themselves they are likely to sue the homeowners and their insurance companies. Besides, like most rich Democrats, these 2,000 clowns probably pay people to their heavy lifting and never been to a Home Depot or Lowes in their lives unless it was to find a way to sue them.

Kerry said he has instructed his Florida campaign staff to provide food, clothing, shelter or other assistance to people whose lives have been disrupted by the hurricane.

The media will of course follow up this order and report on the humanitarian, indeed altruistic services of the 'Effing campaign. Right.

Kerry doesn't want to miss a mountain bike photo-op in Idaho to travel to Florida to view the hurricane damage.

Someone on CNN this morning (a woman) was questioning Florida Senator Bill Nelson about Pres Bush's visit to SW FL. She asked him if the visit was political, since Pres Bush's father had been so roundly criticized for not responding fast enough after Hurricane Andrew.

Journalistic arrogance? Nelson's answer : "Of course, it's political..."
