Cheney will host a breakfast fundraiser for Kris Kobach in Johnson County, KS on August 24th at the Overland Park Ritz Charles.
Arrive at 8:00. Arrive at 8 for a 9 o'clock meal. $250 to be there and $2000 for photo with vp.
I just moved back to St. Louis from Olathe. This is the first time I wish I were back. Give us a report if you are of a mind.
Cool! I got my invitation today, but I'm just going to send in a donation.
Don't laugh, but I was impressed with how cheap the invitiations were. LOL! I hate to see my donations wasted on high dollar paper. No one cares if the invite is fancy or not.
Kris Kobach is the perfect GOP candidate to take on the incumbent Democrat Dennis Moore in a district in which Bush got 53% in 2000. Kobach is a solid conservative, which will assure a large turnout of voters who don't always come out because they feel disenfranchised by the RINOs who usually run in the district. He also has gravitas, experience in anti-terrorism from his days in John Ashcroft's Justice Department post-September 11, a dream academic résumé (Harvard undergrad, Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, Yale Law School), was a star athlete (I believe he won a couple of national rowing championships), and I know for a fact that he had the females at Yale Law School literally swooning over him (he's one of those guys who straight guys can admit is good looking without people thinking they're gay). I think President Bush will get around 55% in the district in 2004 and that Kobach will get around 51% for the victory.
(he's one of those guys who straight guys can admit is good looking without people thinking they're gay.) You are correct. He is totally hot although he does need someone to help him dress.
No, I think it'll be Bush 57% and Kobach 47%. We'll see who is right.
