I know lots and lots unfortunatley. Obviously I try to change their minds but everybody seems pretty set in their ways.
Once I find out they are voting for Kerry, I stop knowing them personally. ;)
Too bad. My daughter is in the Army, Nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. Tentative date for Iraq is February.
He's a good paperboy so I kept on tipping him.
Two weeks ago he told me he has changed his mind and is now all for President Bush.
I told him I was glad he had come to his senses
Their is a problem though, he's only 14.
PS. I'm extremely proud of her.
None of our military friends.
One former PBC neighbor who is opposed to war. Another in PBC who wants a greener earth. Another in the Philly area who was carjacked and shot 8 years ago. One of the bullets is still lodged in his cranium, and I am always encouraging him to reconsider searching for a surgeon to remove it, as it clearly impairs his reasonable thought patterns. LOL! Prior to being shot, he was a hardcore Republican.
I know exactly how you feel. The lone conservative of a liberal household of 2 parents and 7 kids, although 2 of the other kids are fairly conservative democrats, and another one or two will actually listen to me. My parents and oldest sister, however, are way too far gone..
All of my dead friends are voting for him for sure.
Seriously ... somebody needs to revoke that pig's citizenship. Is there a way to get it reconsidered?
That's the way it used to be here (WA), but I think the change only affects the primaries, not the generals.
I work for a small suburban newspaper - so the reporters tend to be liberal - and some of the divorced women in sales and admin. I know of at least 7 that are Kerry supporters. My ex-sister-in-law will vote for Kerry because "daddy" always voted Democrat, and she doesn't think for herself. Other than those nitwits, most of the people I know are voting the RIGHT way.
My wife's uncle, who has always been a strong Republican has even switched sides on this one... that worries me.
There's still plenty of time for Kerry to really screw things up though, allthough it would have to be a really major screwup (like nuking Washington or something) before the press to make mention of it (probably spun as a Bush failure of some sort).
I wonder if I can get my four cats to come with me to vote?!
It seems overall we know less people voting for kerry than Bush. Just from this informal survey, it appears that way to me.
Everyone I know that has average to above average cognitive abilities are voting for Bush. The rest...I don't know.
I would too. I find it's hard to be friends with a liberal.
My dad and his wife also. But all his offspring and their spouses, and all their offspring who are voting age, and all their spouses will vote for W. :-D
No.
4 of em..dumb as rocks they are to do that too but some folks just are dedicated to the philosophy of the Democrat party no matter who is on the ticket..it could be the devil himself and he would get their vote.
It's like that overall, then we have motor voter. Hate that.
LOL
