I have felt differently about Rush ever since he dumped Marta. Some time ago, I saw someone come out of rehab with "self-revelations," and he had to learn a new sense of balance, and lose the concept that family and friends were the enemy. When Rush came back he was just like that guy, and it took me a while to put the two together. One day, I hope Rush finally "gets it."

With McGreevey, there is nothing to understand, or be compassionate about. The guy cheated on his wife, who couldn't attend the inauguration because she was in the hospital giving birth to his baby.

He's a grown man. He should have known his "orientation" a long time ago. I have no sympathy for cheaters, especially ones who come out of the closet after marriage and children. What is he going to do now that he "broke his vows" to his wife? Will he leave her to pursue the gay "lifestyle?"

I'm sorry, but any guy who can get it up to make a baby should be with his wife - that is, if she'll have him. And yes, I'm judging him. What McGreevey did was morally rotten. "Gay American." My @ss!

I Agree. I don't doubt Mcreevy is a perve and as time will show, corrupt. but he cant think women are to yucky if he keeps having kids. His claiming to be gay is just a distraction from something really bad that might come out

The person I felt empathy for was his wife. I can't imagine announcing to the whole world your having an affair. And, BTW, I am a Gay American. (As opposed to what, a Russian Gay?) I really felt for HER.

Man oh man, it seems like its one thing to cheat on your wife with a woman...but with a man????? how can this marriage be saved??? Lets face it, homos are (usually) promiscuously homo. and disease, etc certainly follows. she should dump him.
