On July 28, 2004, Senator John F. Kerry officially became the Democratic Partys nominee for President of the United States. As a senator, all of John Kerrys votes and legislative actions are documented and therefore provide a straightforward record to evaluate the costs associated with the legislation that he has supported. As a candidate however, Kerrys policy proposals and campaign promises are not so precisely documented, particularly in terms of their collective cost. While his campaign website provides a broad review of Kerrys policy goals, documentation on the cost of his proposals is incomplete.

This is an excellent and well referenced analysis of Kerry's Budget proposals. We're losing sight of some important facts amid all these distractions. At its core the Democrat Party is still the party of Big Government and Big Spending. We must never forget that!
