George and Laura Bush to be on with Larry King for the full hour tonight. I don't usually watch LKL because of his lame questions. But it should be interesting.

I agree the pic is fabulous. In the LKL interview, Bush's character shone through. I wish all Americans could see the interview. God has given him peace and the strength to take the high road, and I am inspired.

(Pic of LK looking like a propped-up, brain dead dufus) "We're just gonna sit here and do nothing for 7 minutes and see how you like it."
Yer killin' me.

Kitty, aka Tommy, showed up a couple years ago. He looked to be old and hurting. It turned out, he was young. It was obvious that he'd been around people.
We fed him, took him to the vet to determine if anyone was missing him, did the same in our "neck of the woods". No one recognized him.
He bulked up, visited on a regular basis, every week or 10 days. He makes GREAT babies!
He showed up last week. As my husband left for work, he noticed that Tommy had a bone sticking out of his leg. I took him to the Vet.
The Vet determined that Tommy had been attacked 24-35 hours earlier; the sweetie had dragged himself back to us, knowing that we would help.
His injuries were due to an attack by a larger animal, most likely either a dog or a coyote.
Some $400 later (and counting), Tommy has taken to being inside, using a litter box, doesn't mind making multiple trips to the Vet.
Saving his back leg was not an option, but has been going up and down stairs since day 1.
He's snuggling up next to my feet as I post. Never has there been a sweeter, more grateful cat ever!
Today made the third time this week that I've put him in the pet carrier and hauled him to the Vet - he has yet to complain!

Kerry claiming to get troops out in 6 months is a fluffy bogus campaign lie. And It certainly is. He'd have them out of there in three months.

I'm sure Kerry, if put in that situation, would have knocked the kids over on his way to a safe place. If Kerry were in that situation, the kid wouldn't have minded him rushing out at all. They would have been sound asleep, bored to death by his droning reading.

King's every question seems to be a "gotcha," and he often puts words in the President's mouth, obliging the President to say, "no, I didn't say that," or words to that effect. It's the old, "So when did you stop beating your wife, Senator?" trick.
Sickening trick.
Like Carolinamom said, thank God Bush is smarter than they are.

He's in his seventies? He just fathered a child a couple of years ago? Yes - with his 18th wife or some such.
Actually, the child was created with his approximately seventh wife. Seriously.

Recently, somebody called into Rush's program and said that the President was probably told to stay put until the SS could scope out the location. The guy said something about the SS wanting to be sure there was nobody waiting outside for the President. I certainly get the impression we haven't been told all that W was told as he sat in that classroom. And we may never.
It boils down to this: do we trust our President to act wisely in emergencies or not? That's what we hire him to do. With W, Yes, for me.
