Mcgreevey had other problems as well.

If all came out...I bet he was just as bad..if not worse than Torricelli.

I think thats a great idea. It would at LEAST put the state in play.

After the Republican convention..we may have a landslide on our hands...

And it worked for old crusty quite well.

Right?! Before you know it this will "only" be about sex too. The defense will be, everyone is picking on him because he is gay.

That's different than staying until November, isn't it?

Now, now. He can hardly be expected to get all the shredding done in less than a couple of months.

Yep. November of 2005 is how long the replacement Dem would stay. Unless of course we force a special election now..while the issue is hot.

Shundler could become governor similiar to the way Arnie did.

Chill. Outta respect for the wife and kids.

In 3 days, McGreevy will have to figure out how he wraps the American Flag around his hiney-hijinks, whilst sparing the familiy he used in the most harshest definition of the word "used."

If you don't live in NJ you probably don't have the full picture. Everybody who knows anything about our lovely state's politics already knew McGreevey was gay. It has not been a big secret. I think one must assume McGreevey's wife knew it, too; and that she made the decision to stay in this sham marriage long ago.

Last year McGreevey broke his leg "while walking on the beach with his wife." That was the official story. The reality was, he was not "walking," and he was not with his "wife." And she had to know that.

This resignation is NOT about McGreevey's being gay. It's about all the other corruption that McGreevey's been in up to his eyeballs -- bribery, multiple mob ties, use of taxpayer money for personal extravances, hiring his boy-toy to be NJ State Homeland Security czar -- to name just a few.

Thanks, I'm here all week. My regards to Stillwater, by the way. I have a photo on my wall of Pistol Pete with my grandfather.

Any gay man who marries a straight woman without first confessing his proclivities should be horsewhipped in a public square.

And McGreevey married twice before coming out of the closet.

Good luck NJ.

The dems had your state by the balls during the run for Torches seat, and I think they'll have ya'll by the balls this time.

I hope you prove me wrong and get to vote, in November 2004, for a new governor.
