Let me be the first to congratulate you and in celebration would like to make an offer on your m-24. Say, 30 cents on the dollar?
Just kidding. I am glad to see Smith is bringing back some blued models.
I shoot my 44 (M-29) with reduced handloads anyway. At special levels that big frame hardly moves.

Have we (the American gun owners) forgiven Smith & Wesson for their sin? Are we now allowed to buy Smiths with a clear conscience? Is the boycott over?

Dude, the S&W website doesn't announce anything about this. The model numbers you produced are bogus!

It should look similar to this, right Tex? This is the Model 29 from 1955. It made famous by Clint Eastwood in the "Dirty Harry" films.

Sounds like a nice gun. I hope S&W submits it through the California DOJ extortion, I mean safety testing process. Otherwise, we won't be able to buy them here.

Other than nostalgia, I can't think of a reason to buy an N-frame 44 special with fixed sights. Its unnecessarily big, unnecessarily heavy, and it holds only 6 of an largely outdated cartridge. But hey, if it floats your boat, enjoy.

I'm not sure I forgive Smith and Wesson. I'm going to stay with my Chinese SKS made with good old fashioned slave labor. There's nothing that says quality like knowing the worker can get a bullet in the back of his head for making a poor product.

What did you think of S&W when they were the first to cave into the Clinton administrations strong arming? Remember that?
When Clinton knew they broke S&W, it emboldened them.
