Well - we are now getting intense thunderstorms preceding the approach here of the Gulf storm going in around Panama City, Florida (I used to live there).
One day behind is the one below Cuba, bearing up toward the Tampa area and it, too, is supposed to come on up right through where I am on the southwest side of South Carolina!!

I got the porch things stored out in the storage house yesterday, so cleanup will be easy when it abates.
Two years ago when a hurricane remnant came through here, we had a foot of water in the "new temporary lake" in front - and since the driveway slopes down to the porch, a step down from the house, there was 6" of water over 6" of yucky mud left inside the porch.
No way was I going to repeat THAT complicated cleanup!
Hmmmm....now there is a VERY RED TORNADO WATCH displayed on the television set beside me, with Flood and Wind Advisories.
Might have to bail from FR before long...
