Fox News is reporting with live coverage from Najif that US troops have taken the center of NAjif and have between 750 - 1500 "Terrorists" trapped in the Holy Mosque. The US troops are awaiting the Iraqi forces th enter the mosque to clean it out.

Troops were told not to enter the mosque but to wait for the Iraqi troops to go in. The mosque is completly sutrrounded. Reported live for Najif

I haven't heard it yet but there is an updated after commercial. Let's hope for the best. Will the Shi'ite population rise against the Iraqi troops for entering the mosque and killing these terrorists?

Now let the Iraqi's tear gas the mosque and let them run out like rat's, then have the marines ready to just cut'em down.....if that don't work or won't fly with the geneva conventions.......

I suggest a stick of 2000lb JDAMs into the "holy" site - a most cost-effective manner of dispatching the fanatics to their virgins. But, a single shot between the eyes from a USMC sniper would be a nice touch for al sadr - preferably videotaped to show the rest of the "holy warriors" how the Marines do things. And, when will the US media stop referring to najaf as a "holy city"? It's nothing more than a rathole.
