I am a swing voter, neither Republican nor Democrat. I supported President Bush in his response to September 11 and I supported the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. But I like John Kerry's message about the need to do something about the people in this country who have no health insurance. It's a hard choice.
Well, Casloy, if the demand is high, doesn't that mean that most Americans want it? Benjamin Franklin said an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Wise words from a wise American. I agree with you about the lawsuit thing. It is something I will think about so thanks.

Sivad, I don't understand why you equate Clinton trying to hide an affair with any attempt to provide healthcare to Americans who can't get it, but that's OK. I think there is zero probability that we as a nation will decide to provide every American with mediocre healthcare. But if we decide to provide healthcare to those who can't get it, I think they would prefer mediocre to nothing at all. Forty three million out of a total population approaching 300 million is a very significant percentage. If I have swallowed any Kool-Aid, it is the idea that nothing can be done.
By the way, you misspelled lying (lieing). I'm so glad that I am not the only one who does things like that! (insert smiley face here)

If we weren't Taxed to death we would be able to afford to go to any DR. we want and pay cash and not need insurance.
Well, demand in this case is artificially higher because people can get something free they would otherwise pay for. If I have a sore throat I am far more likely to go to a doctor if I know I only have to make a 12 dollar co-payment. If I had to pay the entire doctor bill I am more likely to just ride it out with aspirin. Does anyone who has insurance comparison shop for doctors based on price? Of course not, and that's one of the reasons medical care is so expensive. Every time we expand "free" medical care (free meaning someone else pays for it) the cost of medical care goes up.
Why don't you just go live in some Socialistic place,or do you live someplace other than America now?
Those who are self employed,or own small businesses are bled dry, while people with NO insurance at all,get treated FOR FREE.
Nothing anyone here says,is going to open your blinkered eyes. You didn't just swallow the Kool-Aid,you've drowned in it and it oozes from every pore.
Writing rational, well thought out posts to you,is a waste of time and effort;you ignore them.
Now,just go away.
Alright, you've forced me to resort to extreme measures.
Yup, that's right.
TARANTINO!
Quentin Tarantino:
I'm telling you! "Like A Virgin" is a metaphor for big d**ks!
Don't say you weren't warned.
Yes,it's still up,but Lepi has been banned.Call up the RKBA crew to do the pave-over. :-)
-good times, G.J.P. (Jr.)

Yikes... my curiousity is jogged... what'd he say to get his comment removed?
I suspect that this troll is the exact same troll as the "Mideasterner" troll from Sunday that asked why Mideasterners hated Americans. :-)
You mean the phony mideaster named HhH?
Yep, that's him.
He's still among the breathing, but in hiding.
Much like "allnude", "StuffedTiger", and "Ex-Democrat Dean".
Does this mean you were planning to vote for Jack Ryan?
Let me see if I can help you make the right choice:
You can vote for a Real American (Bush) or a Traitor (Hanoi John Effing Kerry).
