I am a swing voter, neither Republican nor Democrat. I supported President Bush in his response to September 11 and I supported the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. But I like John Kerry's message about the need to do something about the people in this country who have no health insurance. It's a hard choice.
Nothing is stopping John Kerry from setting up a charitable non profit, soliciting donations (from people like you) and solving this problem. People here don't disagree it is a problem, they disagree with dumping it in the laps of the taxpayers and creating a new huge government bureaucracy with all it's inevitable waste, graft and corruption. Not to mention the question of whether it is the proper constitutional function of the US government.
It is not a hard choice at all. If we do not defend this country from Terrorism, Which I don't trust John Kerry to do.That is because he has not given and plan or concepts on how he plans to fight the war on terror.
If we fail in that then there is no health care for all to worry about.
Committed Bush voters will decide the election, not "swing" voters. One hopes you have enough information at this point to declare yourself a committed Bush voter.
If not, how about using this simple test to help you make a firm decision: Ask yourself who the terrorists would want to win the US Presidency in 2004 --- then vote for the other guy.
Uhh... that's a nice effort, but a few links would more than suffice. That's a lot of graphics to have to download just to scroll, scroll, scroll past to read the following posts. Some of us are still on 56K.

Look most people here will respond to logic. When you put a post out with just a blanket statement with out fact. It tends to get a lot of attention.
As for the lesson that you claim you are being taught here, just exactly what is that lesson. You come into a pro conservative and pro-Bush website. And post that you like Kerry just based on his health care ideas. What response did you expect?! Read the posts on what people think of Kerry here if you need help in making up you mind. But don't look to anyone else to tell you who to vote for.
I have read thru most of the post that you have out here and it is a lot of sniping back at people after posting you comment. If you post an article post facts and be prepared to defend it tooth and nail. If you cannot accept that kind of Enviroment, maybe you need to go someplace that will coddle your feeling. We are not hear to make people feel good.
