Until that question is adequately answered, I will continue to drive instead of fly.
Yeah, that's my take on it. The claim that a flight attendant told her that there were "several air marshals on board" is either complete b*llsh*t or an indication that the flight attendant thought she was a moonbat who needed to be calmed down before she created an incident -- I just can't see even a rookie flight attendant committing such an obvious no-no.
I would appreciate a ping to your post as well. Thank you.
Regardless of how anyone wants to spin this particular story, the fact that these men can get on a plane anywhere in America without exensive security checks is just plain stupid. The Israelis are the only ones who get it.
Something WAS happening on that plane. One of my Conservative shooting buddies is a pilot for XXXXXXXX Airlines (regional carrier), told me that he's seen and heard about hundreds of these incidents on his airline and several others.
Something's afoot, Watson!
I went to the site (womenswallstreet) just now and was overwhelmed with multiple popup windows. This does not help their credibility.
"And I would not have returned to my seat. I think it would be time to gather up a few big boys on the plane and confront those guys telling them to sit down and not get out of their seats again until it's time to exit the plane"
Exactly!!!
bump for later
Cool! Thank you!
Whatever happened then, we need to know where these guys are NOW and what their plans are for the future...
That is rather tendentious.
Nobody has yet satisfactorily explained the economics of shipping the "Syrian Wayne Newton" and his 12 musicians all over the country. THAT is the story with holes. $12,000-$18,000 in tavel for a 2 day gig? Get real.
This story has multiple corroborating witnesses.
Question...it's obvious they were trying to construct something in the lavatory...and it's obvious they failed. The guy with the McDonald's bag came back empty handed...this guy in the jogging suit was obviously mixing something in the toilet. Has the FBI or Homeland Security said anything about the contents of the plane's waste reservoir?
Any evidence would surely have still been in the tank when they landed, and would surely have been collected by the investigators, right?
Let me fill in a few gaps about Nour Mehanna.
Nour Mehana, from Syria, is a well known singer in the Arab world.
It is interesting to note that Nour Mehanas previous occupation was a reciter of the Holy Quran. Although I've been unable to verify Mehanna's religion, it would be highly unusual for a non-Muslim to choose a reciter of Qur'an as a profession.
One of Mehanas recent songs, Um Shaheed which translates to the Martyrs Mother, only serves to increase the level of concern regarding the actions on the plane.
It talks about the death of a Palestinian boy. The mother is advised not to mourn but to rejoice, since the son has died for the freedom of Palestine. It ends with the chants of the jihadis: "Allah Akbar.
Freepmail me if you'd like a link to an audio clip of the song.
This is not intended as a slam against Nour Mehanna - however it is another interesting piece of the puzzle.
I'm not going to reargue Clinton Taylor's article, what I'm saying is Jacobsen is beating a dead horse, and posting another eye witness acount to back her up is a defensive, non-productive gesture. Ask a lawyer about eye witness testimony.
Here's a link to those who missed it, or who want to see Taylor's article again

I'm done with this thread.
I read that article.
It lacks corroboration from the casino that they either paid the band sufficiently to make trip worthwhile, or that such a large number of musicians did, in fact, play.
This casino has a 450 seat theatre. My very small town's high school has a larger theatre. It books acts like The Mariachi Divas who no doubt arrive by Tijuana Taxi.
The Homelame Security story is the one that is full of holes.
Ask a lawyer? Ha Ha Ha, Good one.
You have any idea how many musicians in the last 2000 years got their start in a church or synagogue?
Or how many songs of violence and mourning and matyrdom there are, just in the Scot/Irish folk tradition. Persepective is key.
