I read that article.

It lacks corroboration from the casino that they either paid the band sufficiently to make trip worthwhile, or that such a large number of musicians did, in fact, play.

This casino has a 450 seat theatre. My very small town's high school has a larger theatre. It books acts like The Mariachi Divas who no doubt arrive by Tijuana Taxi.

The Homelame Security story is the one that is full of holes.

If you're resting a case on the economics of struggling immigrant musicians, you have no case. This was a big well publicized show, with advertisements in the largest Lebanese American (also Arab American in general) Expat newspaper in NORTH AMERICA!!!
