American air raids in Iraq: 56 killed, 110 wounded (hospital)
At least 56 people were killed and 110 others wounded in the night of Wednesday to Thursday with Kout (180 km in the south-east of Baghdad) by bombardments of the United States Air Force, one learned from hospital sources.
Partisans of the radical head Shiite Moqtada Sadr and the many civil ones, whose children, appear among the victims, according to Khader Fadal Arar, doctor as a head of the hospital of Kout.
"the American planes started to bombard the Al-Chakia district, in the south of Kout, Thursday little after 03h00 (23h00 Wednesday) and (...) destroyed 18 houses", declared Mr. Arar.
Violent ones engagements between the militiamans Shiites and the Iraqi forces of safety had taken place the day before in this city of center-is of Iraq.
Good.
Sistani checked out for London.; Allawi visited Najf for a final pow wow; the Poles turned over their sectors to the US....it's all adding up to a major offensive against the Shiites.
Sounds like a major offensive
whose children, appear among the victims,
If Sadr wants to use them as shields that is his option. Shouldn't make any difference in our combat role in our fight against these terrorists.
