Two of my daughters and their husbands and friends went there. I listened to it on the radio at work on KFYI 550 AM.
115 degrees, late summer, months before the election, and W gets a rock star reception. If I were in the Kerry camp, I would be very worried. There is a huge reservoir of Bush support which is being hidden from the public.

There was a terrible accident on the freeway I10-I believe, West of Phoenix. Two fatalities and something like 40 people injured. A major dust storm caused a chain reaction, 3 accidents and a pile up. I believe the freeway is still closed. Prayers for the people involved.

I happened to hear McPain on Imus and he said people should get over the outcome of the Vietnam War and concentrate on the Iraq war. Doesn't he get it, we are not worried about the outcome of the Vietnam war, we are worried about Kerry and his so called war stories. Mc Pain said that he released his war records and doesn't know why Kerry won't release his. Well we need to call McPain or write him and let him know, its not the outcome of the Vietnam War we are worried about. I think Kerry has promised him a job, like maybe Rummy's job.
Get on the phones and write to him, lets set him straight.

McCain said he won't accept a position in the Kerry administration and why would he want it? Even McCain knows Kerry would be a disaster as CIC and has to know he'd bring him down as well in reputation. Would you want to be a Sec. of Defense for a nutjob like Kerry? I give McCain credit for campaigning hard for President Bush, but I don't understand him defending Kerry against those who served with Kerry in Vietnam and I hope McCain was directing the "get over Vietnam" comment to Kerry. Kerry makes himself out to be the ultimate hero when he clearly is not. The Cambodia lie is just the latest in Kerry's attempts to embellish his war record.
