They should show "Stripes" as a pro-American neo-classic. Also "Sullivan's Travels".

Hubbard compares the culture war in Hollywood to the Cold War, saying Reagan's game plan was not to continue in a stalemate with the Soviet Union, but to develop a plan to win.

The optimistic spirit of Reagan is alive and well in America. It's just too bad that his Southern California is the home of the opponent in this war.

American Film Renaissance is selling tickets for the festival, scheduled for Sept. 10-12, for $40.

Drat!! If I didn't already have to be elsewhere then (on business) -- do you think this could go on the road?

I'll be there. I'll report back to the forum. I'm a screenwriter and I have a classic American action Western I'm planning to produce. Hollywood seems to have no interest in Westerns anymore.

I read on another thread that supposedly Michael Medved plans to attend. I think we need to send notices of this event to Roger Ebert to see just how much he stands by his statement that a movie and its politics can be separated in a review.

He feigned surprise that the theaters didn't have a pro-George W. Bush documentary on screens the way Michael Moore's overhyped DNC ad was distributed.

Here are some films with a counter viewpoint. Will it merit his attention or will he be to busy washing his hair?
