I love Ann Coulter. "Getting her" just makes ya smile!

LOL… Me too, I started reading this without seeing Ann had written it. I got to “But our young Eddie Haskell” in the fourth paragraph and I thought, I love this, who wrote it? When I saw it was Ann, I just laughed and thought, yep, of course it’s Ann.

This is going to make walking around looking like a Tele-Tubbie seem to be downright positive for John Kerry's image. He will wish he had such a good day.

**But our young Eddie Haskell managed to annoy other servicemen even before he came home and called them war criminals**

My only objection to the article, Eddie Haskell had personality that Kerry don't (Clinton could be compared rightly so to Eddie).

John F. Kerry reminds me more of Major Frank Burns from MASH

Thanks for the corroboration on the Humphrey vote. I've seen Jeh Johnson too. He's a Kerry advisor (legal I'm sure).

One lie he told last night on Hannity & Crud was that Kerry had multiple options available to him after Yale graduation and chose to volunteer for Nam. Wrong, of course, Kerry asked his draft board for permission to go to Paris after Yale for a year to go to school some more. Draft board said NO. sKerry joined the Navy, Swift Boats specifically because at that time they were just doing primarlily coastal patrol and not seeing combat action.

That useage of the Swift Boats changed about the time Kerry was assigned to them I believe.

Johnson just spewing lies. I want to see evidence now of this covert CIA mission activity that lead Kerry to Cambodia like his Kamp is now claiming. There ought to be records or his CO's would definitely know if he was ordered to work with the Seals or CIA or in Cambodia or any number of other fabrications he's come up with.

John O'Neill was an Edwards supporter.

That's what I read in another thread Mo1 pinged me too. Interesting indeed.

Thanks for the ping Mo1!! It's great to see John O'Neill, a lifelong Democrat, and his band of brothers speaking out against Kerry! Many of whom are also Democrats!

This story HAS legs

It certainly does! A story that has a legitimate concern!

Aside from the fact that Frank loved a war, Frank and John do share a trait: Hunger for higher power.

Ann doesn't pull her punches. Her descriptions of Kerry are dead on. '...Uriah Heep-like behavior', indeed.

yup...
they screamed for W's payroll records in the guard and everything else.

he got them published for us.

but Kerry?
no effing way!!!

he's pondscum.
his party knows it and does NOT care.
they are the party of anti-principles... and lies.

in their "club" liars are Jesus... and
truthers are satanic.

hard to feel anything but bile and vomitous expulsion when you think about them.
Kerry is a jerk.

You don't suppose that John O'Neill might be trying to get Kerry bumped off the ticket (a la Torricelli) at the last minute to put John Edwards on top, do you?

"Manchurian Candidate" (original version) comes to mind. Stranger things have happened. Remember Tom Eagleton.

Quote from book: "You get somebody who fakes a Purple Heart, you know, that's the bottom rung of human conduct. You get somebody who fakes a Purple Heart and uses it to go home early, you're even further down. You get somebody who fakes it, uses it to come home early and then calls everyone else a chicken hawk? Son, you've got a real problem on your hands."

Supporting fire for the Swifts from one of conservatism's most popular pundits, packaged in Ann's trademark sardonic style. I really enjoyed this one...

That number's a little high. Several of the 19 others are deceased, several others won't comment, and 11 or 12 say unfit. Only 1 of the 19 supports him.

Of the non-Kerry officers in the photo, 12 oppose Kerry, 4 are neutral, 2 are deceased and 1 supports Kerry. However, only 20 of the 24 officers-in-charge for Coastal Division 11 were present for the photo, and the other 4 also oppose Kerry. Total opposed is therefore 16, not the 17 that Ann states. See Swift Boat Officers Photo at SwiftVets.com for the details.

Thanks for the correction. I hadn't seen it reported that the 4 who were not in the picture were against him.

No, I don't think so. When you consider the fact that the central request of the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth is that they are requesting John Kerry release his service records to the public domain. Then and only then, will we all know the real story of John Kerry's heroics, whether they are alleged or not.

If John Kerry has nothing to hide, then he should have released his records a long time ago.
