If you can believe it or not, Planned Parenthood teaches the sex education classes at my middle school. (Yes, the school board actually allows an activist organization to teach sex ed.) It was amazing some of the things they said. They actually let us know that sex before 18 was illegal. However, then they told us not to worry about breaking it because the police will never catch you. As the week went on it actually seemed like they were promoting juvinile sex. The instructor gleefully talked about how to put a condom on. She explained how flavored condoms could make oral sex a more enjoyable experience. I had to practically force her to say that lying to your parents about sex was a bad thing(I did this by asking her if lying to your parents about sex was a bad thing during annonymous question time.) Even then she didn't seem too sincere. If you have a middle or high school student in the Sacramento Unified School District or many other school districts, this is what your kids are learning. Please, for their sake, give them a good talk about not having sex until marrage before this is taught at your child's school.
P.S. I am planning on starting a Conservative Club at my High School sometime this upcoming year after I get to know the school(I'm an incoming freshman.) Getting PP out will certainly be a priority
Why? When 14 year olds already reject what their taught, it's a good sign.
Yeah, Cavan, tell why you are so SURE that 8th Grader here is really 80-Year-Old.
Well see about the mikes as the time gets closer and if I decide to do it. The only problem with your suggestions is I'm a boy.
Have it your way, but, at least learn
Their / they're
And
fwiw
Your / you're
Just happpy that my 14 year home schooled young man does not have this sewage piped into his brain box, so he does not have to waste his time and energy resisting it.
And, yes, he is a fully formed, and quite normal, kid. Likes girls, but is not saddled with the cultural crap. Has his own style going on. Like minded girls are attracted. to that.
No, I don't agree. In fact I personally know of another instance of exactly this happening elsewhere. In fact the teacher pressured the kids to actually taste the condoms as they were passed around.
My point is- when 12 YO girls are striving to look like strippers, it's refreshing to see an opposing attitude.
EXCELLENT!
I post typos, bad syntax, etc., but I always am ashamed. afterwards.
you've never heard of flavored condoms? my wife used to like the "kiss of mint" ones. go to condomania.com select condoms and the drop down the "type" list, theres everything you could imagine (way beyond just flavors).
I was an officer with Kansans for Life for over ten years. During that time we had former PP members confess they knew if they were able to get into the schools for a session the abortion rate would be more than doubled for students they instructed.
Don-o, don't be embarrassed. I've jumped the gun several times, too wary of trolls. We're all getting trigger-happy coming up to the election and some trols can be very clever. God bless this kid.
If you're in a gubmint school, start taping or shooting video when you think the lunatics are gonna roll. There is a great need on the big, wide, conservative web for this kind of thing...
I'm no prude, nor am I an advocate of ignorance-till-your-wedding-night approaches to sex ed. However, I do wonder about some of the folks who sign up to teach sex ed and develop these sorts of curricula. Methinks the interest is more than academic, if you know what I mean.
Please research clandestine recording laws in your state, look at FindLaw.com
Since the class and the instructor bothered you, consider talking to both your parents and clergy of choice. Then decide on your course of action to expose this situation. One method to consider, should your parents/clergy agree...request a meeting with the Superintendent of the local School Board, offering the opportunity to defend this class and choice of curriculum and source of instructor...then take the complaint to the most popular Local TV Investigation Reporter...again Good Luck
kemosabe said that !
Thanks for all the advice
There was an article here on FR a couple of weeks ago that discussed that very thing.
What a ridiculous comment. An eighth grader wouldn't spell "juvinile" and "strangeley" incorrectly?
So, what happens in your world? An eighth grader spells them correctly and then later spells them incorrectly?
Care to explain why you are so sure this poster is older?
My now 9th grade daughter is very well informed and she would be very capable of writing something like this.
She is very politically informed as well.
Kids that age are not the same as we were.
You on the other hand are looking pretty foolish.
