Since the Cambodia story has been proven a lie, this additional information at the very least reinforces doubts about Kerry's honesty, and at the very worst brings up questions about his mental stability.

Kerry, a Vietnam War veteran who commanded a high-speed patrol boat on the Mekong River for six months and at one point entered Cambodia, made several visits to the country as a Democratic Senator from the state of Massachusetts.

George Butler is a New Hampshire Film Maker and a long time friend with Kerry. He made such films as "Pumping Iron". Butler is currently making a film about Kerry's experiences in Vietnam, called "Going up River", expected to hit theatres this September. This is one reason Kerry's campaign is against this book because it will blow his cover and bring questions to this films accuracy. This is a quote from Butler on WHDH TV Boston, Aired 7/21/2004.
"Everything John Kerry said about Vietnam applies to Iraq as well. So there's a message in the film that's very interesting film indeed."

Not to toot my own horn (but I am) but I was the FIRST person to make the Apocalypse Now analogy. And I did that without even knowing about Kerry's 1979 movie review. It was done entirely by deductive reasoning. I first made the analogy last Sunday (see below) and then more references to that movie the following day.
