From Kerry Statement on outsourcing: "John Kerry was increasing his new jobs tax incentives. He expanded his New Jobs Tax Credit beyond manufacturing to cover small businesses and companies affected by outsourcing. He also called for substantially eliminating tax deferral that gives incentives for companies to move jobs overseas...".

But he has no problem helping them move there. Guess now that he has done that he wants to make money moving them back too!

Kerry promoted outsourcing before he voted against it.

This ought to be devastating but unless it's on the front page of the Slimes, Wash Post, etc, then forget it.

But Bush-Cheney/RNC ads are another story. Plus Bush and Cheney have to push this at the convetion and in the debates. What an outrage.

FYI, there was already a different variant of this thread posted here.

BTW, do you think the RNC ad will look anything like this:

Backdrop Hides `Made in China' Labels
Was the Photo-Op, (Made in China) Cover Up Involving Bush Intentional?
Is Bush’s Sombrero Made in China?

I agree with you. But, it will get picked up by at least shows like Hannity, Rush, Mr. "I want to be fair" O'Reilly. Likely the Washington Times and the New York Post will carry it also.

The New York Times, Washington Post, ABCBSNBCNNMSNBC will only pick up on the story when the Dems have come out and called it a "hate filled hit piece" and of course printing that as the lead.

I continue to believe the China Daily and CCTV are more objective in reporting world events than is the liberal media.

Or maybe like the DNC making Al Jazeera take down their banner at the DNC convention that was hanging behind the stage?

No biggie. If the Asians can manufacture something cheaper than we can, why should I be forced to purchase a higher priced American manufactured good?

The trick for American workers is to learn skills that are not readily outsourced.

The trick for American workers is to learn skills that are not readily outsourced.

The trick for American workers is to work to get the government off the backs of the companies they work for. I remember a Pittsburgh area steel company (I belive it was LTV) that was fined $1 million dollars by the EPA. It always amazed me that the workers never came to the defence of the company, insisting that the $1 million be saved within the company instead of going into the government coffers.

Sticking to the issue at hand, Kerry needs to explain this trip. Why was he promoting U.S. manufacturing in China? Prediction time: How long will it take the media to get on to this story? FR is days ahead...again!

LOL--We need his sage review---was John Kerry hawking for some company desiring to outsource, was he merely seeking a co-operative business deal with no employee exchange, was he grubbing for Chinese Red Army Money ala al gore and billy klinton....and WHY won't the bank manager in Boston, who was THERE, answer these questions! LOL
