My impression of Mrs. Kerry is she's never really been "on" at any time. She seems so disconnected, I can't put my finger on it. I work in the office of a manufacturing facility, but occasionally go out in the plant and even ride a forklift to discuss something with the driver. After that, I still looked more pressed and put together that Mrs. Kerry did the evening she spoke at the convention. She's just sloppy looking and in need of a few grooming tips.
This woman's on some serious meds, IMO. Psych disorders are no crime, but are we sure we would want one in the White House?
For all her connections in fashion, and her considerable wealth and team of servants--she is an awful dowd, isn't she? Though she looks better standing next to Elizabeth Edwards.
My discomfort is that there is a dissonance between what we are told about TKH and what she appears to be when we see her for ourselves. How can dowdy be turned into "sexy?" How can a woman with billions let herself go like that, when image is so important to a campaign? How can she allow herself so many faux-pas (like cringing or grimacing when her husband is in the vicinity) when she is under the scrutiny of the world? If she is so "smart" and so "religious", how can she allow herself to be taunted into swearing at a reporter, or getting married without benefit of an annulment? The questions just don't add up in a way that portrays sKerry in a positive light.
