WHY THE SHOCKING ACCUSATIONS AGAINST KERRY ARE NOT IMPOSSIBLE
View from the Right | August 11, 2004 | Lawrence Auster

Posted on 08/11/2004 12:33:37 AM PDT by Bogolyubski

Having read Unfit for Command, Tony Blankley concludes that there is no middle ground between the Kerry defenders and the Kerry accusers, no room for mistaken impressions or honest disagreement. As hard as it is to believe, Blankley writes, the truth is either that Kerry’s accusers are stone-cold total liars, or that his defenders are stone-cold total liars. Blankley clearly leans toward the latter alternative.

The idea that Kerry is such a massive liar does not seem impossible to me. For one thing, I had decided by early 2004 that Kerry was the biggest phony and the biggest liar I had ever seen. (Clinton’s lies were fast and swirling, a tropical wind storm that fascinated you even as it blew you away; Kerry’s lies are huge bombs wiping out city blocks.) While I don’t know yet if the charges against Kerry are true, they would seem to fit the pattern we’re already familiar with.

What do we know about Kerry? That he has a godlike sense of entitlement, that he stands for nothing except the orthodox left-liberalism that confirms his godlike entitlement, and that, with a complete lack of embarrassment, he says whatever he feels he has to say to advance or glorify himself in any given situation because his only standard is his own self-importance.

We also know from his Vietnam letters, published in The Atlantic last year, that he was anti-war even before he went to Vietnam, or, at least, that he became anti-war very soon after he arrived. By anti-war I mean not just critical of the war, but despising everything it stood for and disdaining America too.

Therefore, based on all the above, it made sense for Kerry to extract himself out of Vietnam as quickly as possible, while extracting from Vietnam that which would help advance his agenda of entitlement, namely a political career leading to a second “JFK” presidency. Since he really despised both America and the war, he had no qualms about lying to acquire medals that would advance his career and simultaneously help him escape from Vietnam faster.

The behavior of which Kerry is accused, though admittedly shocking and disturbing, makes logical and psychological sense based on we know about him.

If as I suspect Kerry is a liar on par with William J Clinton, I ask the same old question once again...how do they think they can get away with it?

What you've described is the classic portrait of a sociopath. At least Clinton was likeable. Kerry's totally repulsive. To put it in a word, when you put the man's career together and where he's been during the Cold War and afterwards, its not difficult to conclude he's evil. Fear for your country if he gets in the White House.

How do they think they can get away with it? Though total media dominance.

How about "Foreign leaders want me to be the next president." "Nixon sent me to Cambodia." "I was in Cambodia Christmas eve 1968."

These are only three. The list is long and these three aren't even the most egregious.

The question is not whether he lies, it's when is he telling the truth?

It appears that Kerry went to Vietnam with an agenda and clear intentions to manipulate and deceive everyone and everything. It appears that his band of brothers were deceived and manipulated by him from the very beginning. This is truly diabolical even for a democrat.

The left keeps making such a big deal about his "volunteering" for the Navy, when he didn't have to. I was around in those days and I remember that if you didn't "volunteer" for the Navy, you were drafted into the Army, boots on the ground with no escape. At least on a Navy ship you had a better chance of escaping injury.
I read that Kerry tried to get a deferral by saying he was going to do his post graduate studies in France, but the military said no, so he volunteered rather than wait for the draft.

Well now, today he changed it from the foreign leaders told me to they told Biden and ... I've never seen a politician who has such a hard time keeping his lies straight.

Well, it's not like being a liberal senator from Massachusetts requires a sense of integrity.

He admits to war crimes and atrocities. Why not believe him, convict him and show him the rockpile? Why should we elect him? Why is he even allowed to run?

LOL!

Is this a trick question?

How do they think they can get away with it?

LMAO!

How do YOU think they won't get away with it?

They ALWAYS get away with it!

Laugh, cry, but you can't deny -- the truth's no weapon when these bastards lie.

The combination of a smooth, practiced, well-honed sociopathic liar, combined with a populace brain-dulled on a diet comprised of nonstop bread and circuses -- fast food, fast porn, eternal sports, unfunny sitcoms driven by lafftrax to let you know when to laugh on cue...

A constant bombardment of sensory overload from the moment they wake to the moment the collapse in exhaustion -- a diet they willingly pay to increase and intensify (intensification being a necessary component of an overload-deadened brainstem)... it all fits together nicely to enable the liars to lie, and "get away with it" without any effort at all.

How do they get away with it?

Their lips move.

The rest is just "everything falling into place."

You can't reason with the hypnotized.

The RAT constituency fits the ticket nicely. They are a textbook example of mass hypnosis. Immune to reason, obedient to commands, and driven by programming to the exclusion of all rational thought process.

This is an excellent review of Kerry versus Swift Boat Vets! Let's keep pressuring the media talking heads to read and assess the book and it's information, one of them may turn and become a real journalists.

Send your emails to networks demanding they investigate the charges before a new Ken Starr is appointed!

(soapbox font off!!)

Yes, I know this is a long shot!!!

The is no comparison if the swift vets' claims are true. Clinton only lied about having an extra-marital affair. Kerry's alleged lies, if proven, are 100 times worse.

At least Clinton was likeable.

I beg to differ. He's the only politician I could not stand to watch or even hear, from Day One.

I still can't understand how so many people fail to see through his sociopathic glibness.
