I was just listening to Luciane Goldberg, filling in for Laura Ingram. She had a caller named Gill, who said because of his job he was able to read the reports that all the Swift boat captains wrote up about the incident where Rassmun fell off the boat.

On Kerry's website it says Rassmun was in the boat behind Kerry and when they came under ememy fire Rassmun went overboard.

This caller Gill says when he read the reports of the captains including Kerry's RASSMUN WAS ON KERRY'S BOAT AND FELL OVERBOARD WHEN KERRY TOOK OFF SO FAST WITH HIS SWIFT BOAT BECAUSE HE THOUGHT THEY WERE UNDER ENEMY FIRE. Gill also says that not one report said they were under enemy fire.

I was on PBRs not PCFs. But, whenever attacked or thought to be under attack, we would go to high speed. That was one of our valuable capabilities to get away fast and then maneuver quickly to bring the attack to the enemy. If someone was skylarking when you went to full speed, they could easily end up in the drink. When that occurred, we or one of the other boats in company would conduct man-overboard maneuvers to rescue the person in the water. So the story is plausible to me that Rassmun fell off Kerry's own boat.

I sent Rush an e-mail yesterday to let him know that Rasmann fell off KERRY'S boat when he bugged out.

From his discussion today, I guess he didn't read it. LOL!
