Hugh just announced that John Gardener (he was on Kerry's boat) next hour.
Steve Gardner (Hugh mistakenly said wrong name)
Hugh called him Charles.
Thanks. I've asked Admin to correct.
Try Hugh's site. He's got his stations listed. But, yes, he does stream.
I missed some of what Duane found out from Kerry campaign folks - last of what I heard was that they said they're still trying to work on an answer to the question of whether Hanoi John ever served in Cambodia and wouldn't get back to him by the time today's show began.
Morning Glory, Hugh! Way to keep on this story!
One thing Duane did do was call the WP reporter (Blumenfeld) and at first she denied writing the story. Then Duane realized he'd specified the wrong date and called back and left a message which I don't believe she's since responded to (so she's feeling quite gullible it would seem)
what's not on Kerry's website is the spots reports for December 1968. Though there are for Jan and Feb 1969.
That would confirm or deny his Cambodia story. Shouldn't it be released?
It would surely clear things up.
You beat me to the post so I had mine pulled. I'm on hold for Hugh now.
I'll be listening!
He has bloggers on now & one who was a liberal back in 70's and believed John Kerry finds himself totally miffed about the whole thing. They encourage average folk to press their local papers to cover this story and get the answers from the Kerry campaign.
I'm still waiting for Duane to incorporate into Hugh's bumper music ROFLMAO
Kerry's web site has a summary of his exploits thru 1968 into 1969.
For back-up there are, or were, links to spot reports and such...but only starting "January 1, 1969".
Best I can tell there never was posted, ie, released, back up for 1968. Especially December, Christmas.
Coincidence? I think not.
Hugh doesn't realize we were the first to get the hat story going yesterday evening!
