I missed some of what Duane found out from Kerry campaign folks - last of what I heard was that they said they're still trying to work on an answer to the question of whether Hanoi John ever served in Cambodia and wouldn't get back to him by the time today's show began.

One thing Duane did do was call the WP reporter (Blumenfeld) and at first she denied writing the story. Then Duane realized he'd specified the wrong date and called back and left a message which I don't believe she's since responded to (so she's feeling quite gullible it would seem)

That would confirm or deny his Cambodia story. Shouldn't it be released?

Kerry's web site has a summary of his exploits thru 1968 into 1969.

For back-up there are, or were, links to spot reports and such...but only starting "January 1, 1969".

Best I can tell there never was posted, ie, released, back up for 1968. Especially December, Christmas.

Coincidence? I think not.
