>> Tom Coburn of OK is a good strong conservative man who can actually WIN his senate race.

Ambrose,

I’m sure Alan Keyes is considered an unelectable extremist nutjob by the RINO infested California “Republican” voters (what did he get there, like 3% of your primary vote?) Of course, just about anyone to the right of Governor Red Doofus is considered an far right-wing NAZI in California.

Over here in Illinois where we pick actual REPUBLICANS in our primaries, Keyes’ platform is more in line with another “unelectable” conservative:

U.S. Senator Peter G. Fitzgerald (R-IL)
Elected: 11/03/98
Party: Republican

According to Project Vote Smart:

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of National Abortion Reproductive Rights Action League 0% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the National Right to Life Committee, 100% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of Americans for Tax Reform, 95% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the National Tax Limitation Committee, 94% of the time

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the Concord Coalition, 96% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of National Federation of Independent Business, 100% of the time

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the Eagle Forum 87% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the Christian Coalition 100% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the American Conservative Union 91% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the Republican Liberty Caucus 77% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the Center for Reclaiming America 100% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the Sierra Club 20% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the Family Research Council 100% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of Citizens for Global Solutions 6% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the American Security Council 75% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of Council for a Livable World 0% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of PeacePac 0% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the Council for Government Reform 77% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of Americans for Democratic Action 5% of the time.

Fitzgerald voted the preferred position of the CATO Trade Policy 93% of the time.

The same senator that your RINO-infested party rode out of town on a rail.

Your same sick little RINO party gave us the most corrupt criminal coddling son-of-a-bitch in history.. George Ryan.

The Illinois Republican Party should have supported Fitzgerald for another term, but they forced him out because he wouldn't 'play ball'.
