I probably won't be popular for saying this, but here goes... I firmly believe George Bush and John Kerry will be dead by November. I think al-qaeda want to see America under marshall law. I also think they will wipe out a good portion of congress. I don't think they just want to interfere with the election process. I think they want to stop it.

I've seen a couple of others on FR say the same thing. One poster, can't remember now who, has said that he thinks AQ wants to use our own Constitution to do us in, and the poster believes the way to do that is through stopping the election. He wouldn't go into detail, but from reading the Constitution myself a bit now, I can see how it would be possible, if people in certain positions of power are removed, not just the one at the top either. At the very least, it would cause months of confusion.
