Wasn't there speculation post 9-11, about airline stocks being sold prior to the attacks? Did anything ever come of investigating leads into the stock market aspect of dumping certain stocks?
Yes, there was! Good catch. But I think that's maybe a tactic that will only work once because I'll bet the SEC is tasked to track that and notify DHS. I'm sure that since Wall Street is also a target, the investment companies are also watching for this sort of activity. But indeed, it's something to look for.
