Maybe an old M14 then.
Yeah, I think maybe a .30-30 L/A in the trunk would be good. Nothing too expensive, in case of damage or theft.
There is a huge stockpile of M14 rifles. They could be easily modified from select fire to semi-auto. It won't happen. There are a bunch of anti-gun politicians actively fighting against it.
