I wish I was making this up, but I'm not:
Here's was Teresa Kerry had to say in Missouri yesterday:
"We don't have to fear being hung from a lamppost or shot or sent to jail. Not yet. Not yet. And please God, not ever," she said.
That is the paranoid bit; here now the delusional part from John Kerry:
"My friends, the harsh fact now is that in the last election, more than 1 million African-Americans were disenfranchised in one of the most tainted elections in history.
Can you believe this? We are "not yet" to the point where we should fear being shot? A "million African-Americans" were disenfranchised? Really, Mr. and Mrs. Kerry? Do tell!
I really don't know what to say about this - what we've got is one of the two major Party candidates saying that a million Americans were denied their voting rights, and his wife saying that we're just "not yet" to the point where we'll be hung from lamp posts...apparantly in both cases, I surmise, by the Evil, Smelly Bushites who Hate Everyone.
Pardon me, but where in hell did we dig up this garbage and get it on to the Democratic ticket? These people are warped; mentally unstable - not only unfit for the White House, but unfit for decent company of any kind. A course of therapy and enforced rest is what they need, not an election victory. All of a sudden, Moore seems like the reasonable person in Democratic ranks...
The good news is that when Clinton did this trip back in 1992 after his convention, he was greeted by 20,000 amazingly enthusiastic supporters at the same location...Kerry only managed to bring out 15,000 - so there is at least some small indication that about a quarter of the Democrats are not ready for the nut house.
Geesh!
The lunatics are running the Democratic asylum.
If you had incriminating edvidence against Clinton and he thought you were going to talk, you were killed or intimidated. So she's not paranoid she, was just refering to the last President. As for that election , the RATS really did try to steal it, were stopped, and have been trying to rewrite histroy ever since. So again she's not paranoid , she's just got the offending parties wrong, that's all.
You said it and amen! I just don't understand these people anymore...its like there really are Two Americas; one which is happily living in the republic we've always lived in, the other living in some paranoid alternate universe where black is white and up is down.
---"We don't have to fear being hung from a lamppost or shot or sent to jail. Not yet. Not yet. And please God, not ever," she said.---
After this election the Dims will be having a necktie party for Terry McAuliffe and they may get around to the Kerrys as well. This election may go down as the biggest disaster for the Dims since McGovern.
If they lose, the Democratic Party will split; they wont be able to cobble together the anti-American and pro-American wings of the Democratic Party anymore...
I am wondering what the Democratic party stands for now. Kerry has taken so many uncharacteristic middle of the road positions that when he talks he doesn't even resemble the Democrats of Nancy Pelosi's ilk. His stance on the war with Iraq, gun control, gay marriage, religion doesn't sound like any Democrat I know. I couldn't believe folks at the convention just swallowed it without a whimper. Are these the same liberals who march en mass and light candles on the West Coast?
Regarding the "million black voters disenfranchised" canard, the bigger the lie, the more people will believe it. The fact is that any sane person knows that no one was disenfranchised during the 2000 elections except those who didn't know how to operate their voting machines or ballots.
They are just so hungry for victory that they'll swallow anything... but watch for the explosion when President Bush wins re-election in a landslide...
