I have just heard on KVI Talk Radio (John Carlson show) that they have just been told from a source on the ground in Iraq that al-Sadar has just been captured. They are waiting for more info. This person, I believe a soldier, John says is a very reliable source for news on the ground. Keeping my fingers crossed. John Carlson said he will provide more details as it comes in.
I'm guessin' Rosie O'Donnell has a pair that will cover him AND a couple of his buddies.

I still listening to the John Carlson show. Waiting for more news from him. One of the earlier post someone says they just heard from another media source that someone BIG has been captured, but had no other details.

By the way if you don't know John Carlson, he ran for Washington Gov in 2000. He lost despite having Rush Limbaugh show up and stump for him. The first time Rush ever did that for a politition.

we could have killed or captured this guy at any time - for months now. this simply indicates that both the US and the iraqis have made a decision that the mayhem from his militia is worth stopping, even with the risk that there might be a more general uprising amongst the Shia because of his capture. Let's hope so.

UPDATE: John Carlson just mentioned it again. He won't name the source but said this person who the station is getting their information from is very credible. He is being told news of this capture is being withheld until the details are put together. He said al-Sadr was captured by coalition fources.
He is saying pray that this is true.
Funny.. Come on, some of the stuff he says IS funny.
I cannot abide O'Reilly and I'll be damned if I'm going to turn on CNN.
