The border which I crossed was in dispute, so while I believed that I was in Cambodia, others believe I was not. But what really matters was not whether or not I was in Cambodia, but that I was in Vietnam, and I won three Purple Hearts.

Your words were repeated within 10 minutes or so on Brit's show by Moira Liasson. The words were different but the thoughts were dead on. This issue doesn't matter because it is not involved with medals and heroics. Thinking one was in Cambodia is all that matters.
