Once a proven Kerry political lie is on the table, it opens up all of the other lies for discussion. They can't be swept under the rug as sour grapes, after Kerry has been proven to cook up flamboyant political lies.
Of course, it will go straight to his 1971 VVAW testimony, when Kerry created his publis persona by calling VN vets baby killing monsters.

It still amazes me that he brought a video camera to Viet Nam to record his daring deeds. The ultimate cynical campaign prep - after all, he thinks he was born to run.
I understand. But moderates feel that most politicians lie. Everyone knew Clinton was a lier but he was elected twice (probably would have been elected a third time if the Constitution wasn't standing in the way).
This will hurt Kerry, but I doubt it will count for more than a couple of percentage points.
