All very true in my opinion. This generation of global terrorism springs completely from a fanatical religious belief not because we are rich and they are poor as some countries maintain.
Appeasement does not work with fanatical religous beliefs of any kind. Only the systematic destruction of the power base(s) that support this activity and the death of enough operational control officers.
The terrorists are not much different then say, the Japanese of WWII in their ruthless fanatiscm. The difference is a necessity to change tacticts for a smaller, more invisible enemy.
