Thanks, I have been out camping. This is the first I have heard of it. I did a search and nothing new popped up.

I read that Red died the other day. I was wondering if they had revived him.

Red is going to Heaven but God let him stop over in Hell to put out the fire on the way up.

This was already posted but I am willing to give this thread a BUMP. Maybe the story will get more play this week.

I have not seen this film (it is on DVD paired with another film) but have no doubt that it shows some of Red Adair's handiwork if not his crew in action.

Good one.
This guy was a legend, that's for sure.
I remember reading about him in awe in the 70's.
Couldn't believe he was still going strong in the 90's.

No has mentioned yet that Adair was a genuine GOP hero and a patriot. Check out how he donated his money!

As a youngin', Hellfighters was the first movie that I stayed up past my bedtime and watched with my dad's sanction. My dad was an old oil field worker and had a lot of respect for what Mr. Adair did.

One of those Father and son memories that I'll never forget.
